This technology generates intense and directional light with a reduced lighting angle beam diameter from the side of the optical fiber, which results in increased brightness, particularly useful for inspecting small parts. The uniformity of the produced light also enhances image quality, especially on highly reflective surfaces and provides with a clear advantage in industrial processes of inspections. Using this innovation allows for optimizing defect identification and process time performance through deep learning on high quality images, free of hot spots.

One of the main advancements of this technology lies in the use of a distributed light source, as opposed to traditional multiple point sources.
