Many inspection applications, especially in electronics and e-mobility, need fast, precise 3D profile scanners. Our high-resolution XCS sensor series meets this need by boosting both speed and accuracy. At the VISION, we will present our newest XCS sensor series with 3K and 4K laser profilers. We developed these sensors with electronics OEMs, and they redefine speed and precision standards. The XCS sensors have top-quality laser line projectors and resolution Z up to 0.42 µm, which lets them help detecting even the smallest surface details at profile speed of 140 kHz. The dual-head option lets them avoid occlusions and scan parts with hidden details such as connector pins. This combination is key for applications needing highest accuracy such as the inline quality control in the automotive and semiconductor & electronics industry.
