@MZ_Grundschrift:IDS continues to focus on AI Vision. We can see that acceptance of this is growing in the market. However, we also see that this is increasingly about cost-effectiveness and therefore performance – the cost of investing in AI technology should pay off. Time is money, faster training and ever shorter inference times are required, while at the same time handling and integration must be easy. At VISION, we will be presenting corresponding developments for image processing with AI, both with space- and resource-saving embedded devices that work on-the-edge and with PC-based systems for machine vision with maximum performance. This includes our IDS NXT intelligent camera series, which was recently expanded with the IDS NXT malibu model. It combines on-camera AI, streaming in 4K and video compression and enables compressed video streams with full sensor resolution at high speed. Our cooperation with Denkweit is an important here. Together, we are developing further possibilities for AI-based vision applications using the latest findings from state-of-the-art technology in the field of AI. Anyone who wants to be successful with AI vision needs powerful products that amortise quickly. This can be achieved by saving time thanks to simple workflows and intuitive training software for creating customised artificial neural networks that require as few images as possible for training and enable ever shorter inference times. At Vision, we demonstrate how the advantages of the various approaches can be combined and how easy integration into existing systems can be. For example, we are using the extremely high-performance and reliable OCR model from Denknet, which characters quickly and reliably even under difficult conditions with the independently operating IDS NXT malibu edge AI camera. The exciting field of AI vision is still in its infancy. We will continue to pursue this development. @MZ_Grundschrift: Hall 8 | Booth C60
