Vision 2024 is an outstanding meeting place for all machine vision professionals. This year, it is particularly important for us to show that Basler has consistently evolved – from a leading camera manufacturer to a comprehensive solution provider for machine vision applications. Our highlight will therefore be our broad range of solutions – which goes far beyond the camera product itself – and based on that, we can advise our customers on the specific machine vision challenges of their industry. We will focus on live applications to demonstrate to visitors the performance and versatility of our machine vision solutions in practice, e.g. we present a quality inspection application for battery cell production. Our new racer 2 line scan camera series is used in combination with our imaFlex frame grabber and the pylon software, including the pylon vTools AI modules. This demonstrates how we can meet the high technical requirements for frame rates and resolutions, as well as the large amounts of data involved. In a logistics application, we will be showing the ace 2 cameras, as well as our new stereo and time-of-flight cameras for precise control of robots and automated warehouse systems. Another exciting demonstration of our new pylon AI software plug-ins can be seen in a more playful scenario on a football table. This application impressively shows how precise and flexible our AI tools can operate, even in dynamic scenarios.
